Position Specification
Under the supervision of PPAP Manager, the PPAP Engineer is responsible for qualifing the supplier product’s quality and pushing the quality improvement to the product from supplier.
Basic Accountabilities1. Responsible for qualification of new product / new suppliers/etc., supervise and guide the engineer’s work conform to PPAP process, assess the quality of the certification, ensure the integrality of drawing
2. Responsible for part qualification and process audit，insuring PPAP carry out according to the procedure.
3. Conducting product manufacturing process evaluation and provide solutions to help suppliers improve their manufacturing processes in terms of capabilities and capacity
4. Participate in the technology, processing and mold review with IPD
5. Participate in the supplier Q+ level audit
6. Participate in ACE activities or events
7. Compliance with EHS policy and standards of Otis, EHS rules of company and local EHS policy and rules, actively support and participate in EHS activity
8. other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor

Manufacturing Operation DepartmentQualification Requirement
* Education: Bachelor or higher than Bachelor, majored in mechanical/electrical engineering or quality or other related.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in supplier quality control, preferably in elevator industry
* Skills: Proficient in the knowledge in mechanical/electrical technics/ manufacturing and quality management.
* Language: Good in both Chinese and English reading and speaking
* Computer Skills: Knowledge of Windows, Ms Offices and database software
* Other Key Competencies: Statistical analysis skill.
