-Handling customer and suppliers QA issues -Supplying targets for yield improvements -Applying statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes -Coordinating department activities -Reporting to communicate involvement and results of quality activities -Supporting production, purchasing and projects -Attending meetings -Making recommendations -Developing and implementing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation -Planning and conducting the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned product or component -Performing quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records -Preparing and presenting technical and program information to team members and management -Maintaining a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards -Managing all quality aspects of assigned product lines and manufacturing processes to ensure highest product quality and assure compliance to internal and customer specifications and standards -Participating in development projects to help ensure products and processes are designed, developed and transferred to meet appropriate customer requirements and other regulations -Communicating significant issues identified during quality activities and provide recommended process improvements to team and management -Leading and participating in Corrective Action and Preventive Action teams in resolving customer, supplier and production issues -Assuring the disposition of any materials and components that are rejected for non-conformance with effective corrective and preventive actions -Participating in audits and assessment of the manufacturing operations, and recommends Corrective Actions and process improvements (internal and external) -Training associates on key characteristics of product to improve awareness of product quality Requirements:-Collaborating on teams -Oral and written communication -Managing projects -Interpreting technical drawings -Being customer focused -Organization and problem solving -Managing stressful situations -Information technology -Presentation and listening -Being analytical and creative -Managing numeric information -Being thorough and professional -Meeting deadlines and multitasking
