Job title: Mechanical Inspector of CNP
Project Statement:
Refer to the inspection calls, BV will be in charge of quality surveillance for equipment and steel structures in Power Industry covering Materials, Fabrication, Assembly and Testing.
The inspector performs the surveillance at manufacturer premise based on call basis or resident.
The Inspection location might be varied depend the contract requirements.
Role Statement:
1.Mechanical Inspectors with education from Thermal engineering or Mechanical Manufacture and Automation
2.Mechanical Inspectors with experiences of Boilers, Turbines
3.Mechanical Inspectors with machining/welding/assembly technology and methodology.
Duties &Responsibilities:
1.Perform the surveillance in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program, specification, standard requirements
2.Maintain close communication and coordination between vendors and CNP OM or clients if need
3.Survey or Review of material production at the steel’s supplier facility
4.Review fabricator’s QA Program, processes and associated qualifications (welding, NDE, personnel, …)
5.Review or Witness fabrication process at the supplier’s fabrication site, including metal forming, cutting, machining, welding, heat treatment, NDE, painting etc.
6.Work closely with supplier’s personnel and clients if have, on site to guarantee seamless execution of surveillance and review
7.Resolution of technical issues during the execution of surveillance with the support of CNP OM
8.Ensure that technical and QA requirements are satisfied and key milestones as specified in specification and schedule are met.
9.Provide inspection and progress reports
10.This will be a working field position
Knowledge & Skills:
1.Thermal Power Engineering or Mechanical Manufacture and AutomationDegree or equivalent
2.Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing, Quality Control, Process in the Power Industry or similar highly regulated Industry
3.Good command of Quality Assurance culture and processes is a must
4.Good understanding of the design and manufacture of equipments, such as boiler, turbine, pump or related equipment
5.Should possess a working knowledge of GB, JB and DLT code
6.Process experience of design and technical will be prefer
7.Welding certificates and associated NDE certificates will be prefer
8.Availability for working in the field and travel
9.Minimum normal in English and Fluent in Chinese
10.Experience working for a foreign company in an international environment or equivalent
11.Successful candidate will be analytical, self managed and have well developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

2.Must be a self starter
3.Be able to work independently with little supervision
4.Must be able to work in a team environment
5.Well organized and detail minded
6.Must recognize, maintain, and keep in trust all confidential information pertaining to the department or division.
