Main Duties:
Team and Project Management：
● According to the requirements of the CIO, responsible for communicating and maintaining with clients and key suppliers in various countries, in order to improve and perfect the technical level of the projects and products;
● According to the requirements of the CIO, conduct domestic and international business travel from time to time, conduct the works of business negotiations, project docking, project tracking, technical exchanges, and post project maintenance, etc;
● Responsible for organizing and managing project management, project initiation, components selection, development, review, after-sales, and other related tasks;
● Responsible for coordinating the daily work between design teams from various countries with R&D teams in Qingdao, China, including providing technical training and guidance to client engineering teams;
● Responsible for the preparation and management of project team budgets;
● Responsible for managing and maintaining clients and suppliers;
● Complete the deliverables of each project in a timely manner and report to the CIO for appraisal;
● This position also involves building an experienced and highly professional team, building relevant product construction and ****ing facilities, improving workflow to ensure timely delivery of works with a high quality level;
R&D works of products and technologies：
● Organize and implement the development and integration of electric and hybrid powertrain systems for vehicle related projects according to the requirements of Desten Group or clients;
● Organize and implement the overall development of small electric vehicles according to the requirements of Desten Group or clients;
● Organize and implement the delivery of battery packs, motors, electronic and electrical components, control systems and other parts& components required for the above-mentioned projects according to the requirements of Desten Group or clients;
● With respect to the projects involving powertrain systems, responsible for organizing and guiding colleagues in the battery cell department to complete the development of battery packs and battery modules, as well as the integration of BMS;
● According to the requirements of Desten Group or clients, organize and implement the development work of various battery energy storage projects, either partially or as a whole, and our part of consumer electronics projects;
● According to the requirements of Desten Group or clients, organize and implement risk control, schedule management, development and design, construction, debugging&commissioning, delivery, maintenance, after-sales and other work for each project and its prototype products.
Minimum Qualification：
● Graduated from related majors such as electronics, electrical engineering, automotive, etc, and obtained a BEng degree or above;
● Having over 8 years of experience in research and development in related industries, proficient in relevant design software and principles; Having more than 3 years of management experience in the R&D department of relevant industries;
● Possess basic professional skills certificates;
● Understand the overall dynamics of the new energy industry and have sufficient knowledge reserves in lithium batteries and related products;
● Proficient in English, able to fluently communicate orally and in writing, and able to adapt to different accents in different countries;
● Able to accept long-term or frequent domestic and international business travels;
● No any criminal or illegal record at homeland and abroad.
Working Conditions:
● Work Location：No fixed work location；When there are requirements of domestic or international business travels, it is necessary to travel as required. When there are corresponding work tasks at the Qingdao R&D base, it is necessary to be stationed there irregularly. When there are no external work tasks, you can apply to your superiors for working from home.
● Salary and benefits：It will be determined during/after interview with CIO. Due to the particularity of this job, its salary and benefits shall be determined after comprehensively considering actual work needs, personal abilities and the interviewee’s personal willingness.
